Los socialistas han destacado <strong>su lucha continua contra el franquismo<\/strong> y <strong>la labor realizada durante la transici\u00f3n<\/strong> para que nuestra sociedad recuperara las libertades.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Garc\u00eda Miralles naci\u00f3 el 20 de abril de 1934, de oficio tejedor y <strong>perteneci\u00f3 a la organizaci\u00f3n socialista clandestina de Alcoy desde febrero de 1964<\/strong>. Desde ese a\u00f1o hasta 1967 <strong>fue secretario de prensa y propaganda<\/strong> de las Juventudes Socialistas mientras que entre 1968 y 1974 <strong>fue vocal del Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo local del PSOE<\/strong>, de 1978 a 1980 <strong>secretario local de la UGT<\/strong> y de 1983 a 1987 tambi\u00e9n fue <strong>secretario comarcal y miembro de la direcci\u00f3n de la Federaci\u00f3n Textil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1976 desempe\u00f1\u00f3 el cargo de <strong>presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n Ejecutiva del PSOE de Alcoy<\/strong> y en 1977 y 1978 <strong>secretario de relaciones pol\u00edticas<\/strong>. Fue <strong>secretario de acci\u00f3n sindical<\/strong> en 1983 y presidente de la <strong>Agrupaci\u00f3n Socialista<\/strong> desde 1988.
