As\u00ed lo indican <strong>los datos aportados por el \u00e1rea de Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica<\/strong> del Ayuntamiento de nuestra ciudad, las cuales reflejan que a lo largo de la anualidad anterior <strong>se redujeron <\/strong><span lang=\"es-ES\"><strong>en 530,81 toneladas los residuos en el contenedor gris<\/strong> mientras que <strong>en el dep\u00f3sito de materia org\u00e1nica se detectaron 307,69 toneladas<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"es-ES\">Por otra parte se obtuvieron <strong>68,34 toneladas menos de cart\u00f3n<\/strong>, <strong>10,31 menos en envases<\/strong> y <strong>1,18 menos de vidrio<\/strong>. Los 307.690 kilos de materia org\u00e1nica<strong> ser\u00e1n transformados en compost<\/strong>, material que costar\u00e1 menos al ser tratado y que adem\u00e1s no es enterrado como &#8216;resto&#8217; &#8220;<em>precisamente el compostaje mantiene los materiales fuera de los vertederos, aporta nutrientes al suelo, atrae y retiene el agua de lluvia y reduce la producci\u00f3n de gases en los vertederos que, al fin y al cabo, son gases de efecto invernadero muy potentes. Todos los restos org\u00e1nicos que depositamos en el contenedor marr\u00f3n van a una planta de compostaje que esta semana se ha certificado su abono para poder utilizarlo para compost&#8221;,\u00a0<\/em>afirma el concejal de Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica; <strong>Jordi Silvestre<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"es-ES\">Recordar que el uso de este nuevo contenedor <strong>funciona con <\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"><strong>llave<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">para garantizar una correcta utilizaci\u00f3n. La ciudadan\u00eda que quiera hacer uso del mismo, tiene que solicitarlo <strong>al tel\u00e9fono 96 553 71 27 o el correo organic@alcoi.org<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n se recoge la org\u00e1nica a grandes productores, como residencias, mercados o comedores escolares, los cuales <strong>disponen de un dep\u00f3sito muy cerca o el servicio <\/strong><\/span><strong><span lang=\"es-ES\">puerta<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"es-ES\"><strong>\u00a0a puerta<\/strong>.<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alcoy recicl\u00f3 m\u00e1s durante el pasado a\u00f1o 2021.
