Comenzaba as\u00ed <strong>un largo camino<\/strong> en el que una crisis sanitaria sin precedentes <strong>obligar\u00eda a suprimir la atenci\u00f3n presencial en los Centros de Salud de l\u2019Alcoi\u00e0 y el Comtat<\/strong> as\u00ed como a <strong>realizar las consultas telef\u00f3nicamente<\/strong> sino eran casos muy urgentes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte <strong>el Hospital Virgen de los Lirios tambi\u00e9n paralizo\u0301 aquellas cuestiones que no eran prioritarias<\/strong> mientras <strong>sus profesionales se dedicaron a atender las urgencias de la residencia geri\u00e1trica Domus VI<\/strong> de la capital del Serpis donde un brote de Covid-19 termino\u0301 con la vida de 73 residentes \u201c<em>el ritmo de contagios fue moderado en esos momentos gracias a las medidas que se adoptaron como el confinamiento domiciliario. Con la segunda ola la situaci\u00f3n empez\u00f3 a complicarse y a la tercera ya llegamos con un elevado nivel de ingresos que nos oblig\u00f3 a reorganizar plantas as\u00ed como a aplicar un Plan de Contingencia que evitara el colapso del Hospital<\/em>\u201d, recuerda <strong>Enrique Barbeito<\/strong>, el Gerente de nuestro Departamento Sanitario. Durante <strong>la primera y la segunda ola<\/strong> la ocupaci\u00f3n hospitalaria <strong>entro\u0301 dentro de los l\u00edmites <\/strong>mientras que <strong>a partir de la tercera se incrementaron los ingresos<\/strong> hasta llegar casi a saturar el propio Hospital a finales del a\u00f1o y principios del 2021 <em>\u201clos profesionales sanitarios hemos hecho un gran esfuerzo para enfrentarnos a una situaci\u00f3n dif\u00edcil que nos era desconocida para todos y que nos ha supuesto una lucha constante por salvar vidas humanas.
