En el transcurso de la misma, que se desarroll\u00f3 con todas las medidas de seguridad e higiene frente al Coronavirus, <strong>se descubri\u00f3 el Cartel Anunciador de los festejos patronales<\/strong> que ha creado para la ocasi\u00f3n el alcoyano <strong>Jorge P\u00e9rez Dom\u00e9nech<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La obra, que despu\u00e9s fue colocada en la fachada del templo, <strong>reproduce sobre fondo blanco elementos ic\u00f3nicos de la ciudad como el Pont de Sant Jordi o la misma iglesia de San Mauro<\/strong> con un aspecto da\u00f1ado. De esta forma <strong>se hace alusi\u00f3n a los graves terremotos que sufri\u00f3 Alcoy en 1620<\/strong> y que <strong>propiciaron<\/strong> <strong>la elecci\u00f3n del santo como patr\u00f3n<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s podemos ver <strong>la palma del martirio<\/strong> y <strong>la corona<\/strong> que porta la imagen de San Mauro que se venera en la parroquia de su mismo nombre.
