Se trata de un edificio singular que <strong>pertenece a la agrupaci\u00f3n empresarial Textil Alcoyana<\/strong>, ampliado en 1875 por Jos\u00e9 Molt\u00f3 Valor, y <strong>cuya c\u00fapula es de estilo rococ\u00f3<\/strong>. En ella <strong>se representa a los santos patronos y protectores de Alcoy<\/strong> as\u00ed como <strong>los oficios de mayor relevancia de la \u00e9poca<\/strong> &#8220;<em>es un inmueble lleno de historia, que muchas veces pasa desapercibido, pero que yo definir\u00eda como una peque\u00f1a bombonera en el centro de Alcoy. Tiene una gran riqueza art\u00edstica y sobre todo muchos elementos simb\u00f3licos relacionados con el textil y la lucha contra el maligno que identifica a San Miguel<\/em>&#8220;, afirmaba en COPE ALCOY el historiador; <strong>Gabriel Guillem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La crisis sanitaria del Coronavirus y la restauraci\u00f3n de la Capilla <strong>han impedido que el templo abriera sus puertas en este 29 de septiembre<\/strong>, \u00fanica vez al a\u00f1o en que se puede visitar. No obstante <strong>la Textil Alcoyana no ha dejado de celebrar su particular homenaje a San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel<\/strong> y ha participado en <strong>una misa solemne<\/strong> que se ha desarrollado a mediod\u00eda en la Parroquia de San Mauro y San Francisco.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cada 29 de septiembre se celebra la festividad de los arc\u00e1ngeles San Gabriel, San Rafael y San Miguel;
