Teniendo en cuenta los nichos que est\u00e1n a punto de acabarse, <strong>desde 2017 a 2019 se han construido un total de 416 nichos y 120 unidades en el columbario<\/strong> para restos incinerados. Recordar que<strong> las incineraciones en Alcoy ha ido en aumento<\/strong> desde la construcci\u00f3n del crematorio en 2011 y se calcula que en la actualidad, en el 50% de las defunciones, <strong>se elige este m\u00e9todo<\/strong>. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os <strong>tambi\u00e9n se han rescatado un total de 162 unidades<\/strong> que estaban en desuso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s <strong>el Ayuntamiento de Alcoy ha iniciado la renovaci\u00f3n de los bloques 1 al 14 del Cementerio Municipal<\/strong> que est\u00e1n en mal estado <em>&#8220;ahora estamos trabajando en el bloque 1 y nuestra pretensi\u00f3n es conseguir, una vez vaciado dicho bloque, el rehacer sobre el mismo espacio unos nuevos nichos que permitan racionalizar el espacio del Cementerio Municipal. Desde el Ayuntamiento queremos destacar el minucioso trabajo del personal del Departamento de Obras y servicios, en especial los trabajadores del Cementerio Municipal, por la extraordinaria labor que realizan en un tema muy delicado y en el que es necesario atender las distintas sensibilidades de los familiares de nuestros fallecidos<\/em>&#8220;, afirma el edil de Obras y Servicios; <strong>Jordi Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recordar que ma\u00f1ana a las doce y media del mediod\u00eda<strong> se celebrar\u00e1 la misa de Todos los Santos en el Cementerio Municipal<\/strong> de Alcoy.
