Los j\u00f3venes que en este 2018 <strong>cumplen los 18 a\u00f1os de edad<\/strong> salieron de nuevo al monte a <strong>recoger un pino de grandes dimensiones<\/strong> que fue plantado en <strong>el centro de la plaza del pueblo<\/strong> y al que <strong>le prendieron fuego<\/strong> durante la noche del lunes. La jornada estuvo <strong>precedida de varios actos<\/strong> <strong>durante el fin de semana<\/strong> entre los que destacaron las cenas de hermandad amenizadas por la m\u00fasica popular, la discom\u00f3vil e incluso la cl\u00e1sica &#8216;plant\u00e0&#8217; de la &#8216;Carrasca dels Casats&#8217;. Paralelamente en la parroquia de San Miguel, antes del Mi\u00e9rcoles de Ceniza, <strong>se llevaron a cabo las habituales Cuarenta Horas<\/strong> en honor al Sant\u00edsimo Sacramento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El alcalde de Agres, <strong>Josep Manel Franc\u00e9s<\/strong>, explic\u00f3 el pasado lunes en el Informativo Comarcal el origen de esta fiesta tan arraigada en el municipio y <strong>record\u00f3 el papel importante de los llamados &#8216;Quintos&#8217;<\/strong> &#8220;<em>aunque ya no hay servicio militar obligatorio se sigue manteniendo esta costumbre.
