Seg\u00fan la OMS, la enfermedad <strong>representa el 70 por ciento de las demencias<\/strong>. Las previsiones sobre la evoluci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de la misma <strong>van en aumento<\/strong> y sit\u00faan la cifra de afectados en <strong>135 millones de personas<\/strong> en el mundo en 2050. Se desconoce <strong>su origen<\/strong> y no tiene un tratamiento que lo cure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Asociaci\u00f3n de Alzhiemer de Alcoy, que realiza una importante labor en nuestra ciudad, est\u00e1 llevando a cabo estos d\u00edas iniciativas como el <strong>Taller de la Memoria<\/strong> o el <strong>Caf\u00e9 del Alzheimer<\/strong> mientras que ma\u00f1ana instalar\u00e1n <strong>mesas informativas<\/strong> de 8 a 15 por la ma\u00f1ana en las que tambi\u00e9n se efectuar\u00e1n cuestaciones populares. Adem\u00e1s, a las doce del mediod\u00eda,\u00a0se efectuar\u00e1 <strong>una suelta de globos verdes<\/strong> en la Plaza de Espa\u00f1a para dar visibilidad a la enfermedad &#8220;<em>es verdad que la ciencia va avanzando mucho pero es necesario que se den pasos m\u00e1s grandes en la investigaci\u00f3n sobre el Alzheimer<\/em>&#8220;, reclamaba hoy en COPE ALCOY la presidenta del colectivo; <strong>Lirios Aracil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por \u00faltimo el domingo 23 de septiembre se realizar\u00e1 en el Polideportivo Francisco Laporta la actividad <strong>&#8216;Zumba Fitness&#8217;<\/strong> a partir de las once y media de la ma\u00f1ana con un fin solidario. Asimismo el viernes 28, en el \u00c1gora, <strong>se presentar\u00e1 el calendario solidario &#8216;Records&#8217;<\/strong> que impulsan tanto el Capit\u00e1n Moro 2019 de la Fil\u00e0 Magenta como la misma Asociaci\u00f3n de Alzheimer de Alcoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Actos tambi\u00e9n en la comarca<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El D\u00eda Mundial del Alzheimer tambi\u00e9n <strong>se celebrar\u00e1 en la comarca<\/strong> ma\u00f1ana viernes con gran cantidad de propuestas. En <strong>Cocentaina<\/strong>, a las seis y media de la tarde, habr\u00e1 una suelta de globos verdes seguida de la lectura del manifiesto en los exteriores del Centro Social Real Blanc. Seguidamente, en el interior, el Doctor Jorge Santonja impartir\u00e1 la charla \u2019Malaltia: Alzheimer: que hi ha de nou\u2019. El ritual se repetir\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n en <strong>Muro<\/strong>, donde adem\u00e1s habr\u00e1 \u00a0mesas informativas en el Mercado Municipal y en el Centro de Salud por la ma\u00f1ana.
