La Plaza de Espa\u00f1a ha acogido <strong>la lectura de un manifiesto<\/strong> a mediod\u00eda\u00a0a cargo de<strong> Beatriz Munt\u00f3 Garrig\u00f3s<\/strong> (usuaria de ACOVIFA) y <strong>se ha rendido un homenaje a las v\u00edctimas de la violencia de g\u00e9nero<\/strong> en 2017 <strong>depositando varias velas<\/strong> encendidas sobre una peana. Todo ha estado<strong> precedido por un minuto de silencio y un sonoro aplauso<\/strong> dedicado a la \u00faltima v\u00edctima de esta lacra, una mujer que en las \u00faltimas horas ha sido asesinada a tiros por su expareja en la localidad castellonense de Vinar\u00f3s. Tambi\u00e9n\u00a0<strong>la Asociaci\u00f3n de Personas Sordas de Alcoy y Comarca<\/strong> ha colaborado en estas iniciativas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el manifiesto se ha incidido en aspectos como la importancia de <strong>acabar con la transmisi\u00f3n de mensajes sexistas en los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n<\/strong> o <strong>a trav\u00e9s de la publicidad<\/strong> al mismo tiempo que se ha incidido en la necesidad de <strong>fomentar el respeto<\/strong> desde el \u00e1mbito educativo &#8220;<em>no dejes que nadie te diga qu\u00e9 hacer o c\u00f3mo te tienes que comportar, especialmente si es para quitarte tu libertad. Qui\u00e9rete y conf\u00eda en ti misma, haz crecer tus virtudes y fortalezas, s\u00e9 feliz. Se libre<\/em>&#8220;, sentenci\u00f3 la encargada de leer el texto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indicar que estos actos simb\u00f3licos <strong>se complementan<\/strong> con exposiciones fotogr\u00e1ficas, proyecciones de videos y documentales o charlas; unas iniciativas que se han llevado a cabo en los d\u00edas previos y que seguir\u00e1n en las pr\u00f3ximas jornadas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alcoy se adhiere\u00a0al Pacto Contra la Violencia Machista y de G\u00e9nero<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se\u00f1alar que en el marco de esta jornada <strong>el Ayuntamiento de Alcoy se ha adherido al Pacto Contra la Violencia Machista y de G\u00e9nero<\/strong>, uni\u00e9ndose as\u00ed a gran parte de las instituciones y de la sociedad valenciana que pide el fin de las agresiones machistas.
