Tom\u00e1s ha desempe\u00f1ado la tarea de\u00a0primer edil en el municipio <strong>desde el a\u00f1o 2004<\/strong>, momento en el que <strong>accedi\u00f3 a la alcald\u00eda despu\u00e9s de la moci\u00f3n de censura<\/strong> que apart\u00f3 del cargo a Jos\u00e9 Vicente Sanjuan; elegido en los comicios municipales del a\u00f1o anterior.
