La Generalitat Valenciana ha acordado conceder a ACIF, la Asociaci\u00f3n contra Incendios Forestales de Alcoy la medalla al M\u00e9rito de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, en su categor\u00eda de plata, por su labor en materia de protecci\u00f3n civil y emergencias. La resoluci\u00f3n que este viernes publica el Diari Oficial de la generalitat Valenciana, recoge esta concesi\u00f3n que firma el director general de la Agencia de Seguridad y Respuesta a las Emergencias, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda \u00c1ngel Batalla.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ACIF\u00a0fue creada en 1991 por voluntarios que compart\u00edan inquietud frente a la problem\u00e1tica de los incendios forestales y que ve\u00edan la necesidad de organizarse para a la extinci\u00f3n, prevenci\u00f3n de incendios forestales y protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente. Desde hace 15 a\u00f1os los voluntarios de ACIF no han dudado nunca en presentarse all\u00ed donde existe un incendio, equipados con medios t\u00e9cnicos propios para extinguirlo. En este tiempo han acumulado experiencia y tambi\u00e9n formaci\u00f3n a cargo de Ingenieros t\u00e9cnicos Forestales a trav\u00e9s de cursillos pr\u00e1cticos realizados en el parque de Bomberos de La Muntanya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La labor de vigilancia y protecci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se lleva medalla.
