Tras la Estafeta, en la que se ha pedido la rendici\u00f3n al capit\u00e1n moro, ha llegado la Embajada Cristiana en la que Ricard Sanz ha instado a los sarracenos a dejar Alcoy en un parlamento lleno de emotividad que no ha llegado a buen puerto. Y es que las palabras de nuevo han fracasado y han dado paso a los arcabuces para decidir el combate. La estruendosa batalla ha reducido a los moros en el entorno de la Plaza de Espa\u00f1a mientras los cuatro cargos festeros han tomado las armas en mano para luchar cuerpo a cuerpo en la defensa de la Villa de Alcoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finalmente los cristianos han conseguido vencer al ej\u00e9rcito capitaneado por Al \u2013 Azraq iz\u00e1ndose inmediatamente la bandera de la cruz en lo alto del castillo.
