Alcoy ha vuelto a cumplir con la tradici\u00f3n iniciada en 1.885 y un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, y ya van 131, ha recibido en la tarde del cinco de enero a los Reyes \u00a0Magos de Oriente. A las seis de la tarde ha arrancado el desfile desde la zona alta de El Cam\u00ed y un s\u00e9quito de 1.500 personas ha acompa\u00f1ado a los monarcas por la calle San Nicol\u00e1s hasta llegar a la Plaza de Espa\u00f1a. All\u00ed ha tenido lugar poco despu\u00e9s de las ocho y media el acto de la adoraci\u00f3n donde Melchor, Gaspar y Baltasar han descendido de sus dromedarios para acercarse al centro de La Bandeja. En las inmediaciones del portal han rendido pleites\u00eda a la Sagrada Familia mientras sonaban con fuerza las campanas de la iglesia de Santa Mar\u00eda entremezcladas con los sonidos del Aleluya de Haendel junto al disparo de un vistoso castillo de fuegos artificiales.<\/p>\n

Tras este m\u00e1gico momento un completo ej\u00e9rcito formado por m\u00e1s de 400 pajes han tomado las calles de la ciudad para entregar los regalos a domicilio. Los populares\u00a0Negrets\u00a0<\/em>han subido apresurados por sus escaleras rojas aportando una imagen vistosa y \u00fanica que tan solo se produce en Alcoy en una jornada como esta.<\/p>\n

La Cabalgata ha continuado por San Lorenzo, Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0, Cervantes y Alzamora hasta concluir ante el templo de San Roque. Durante todo el trayecto los Reyes as\u00ed como sus acompa\u00f1antes de La Degoll\u00e0, la Fil\u00e0 Tomasinas y el Colegio de Agentes Comerciales; han recibido el cari\u00f1o de los alcoyanos y visitantes. Un p\u00fablico que ha vuelto a agolparse en las aceras de todo el trayecto de forma masiva para arropar a los Magos venidos desde el lejano Oriente.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
