Tambi\u00e9n hemos recordado que <strong>nuestra ciudad celebr\u00f3 ayer la solemne procesi\u00f3n del Corpus Christi<\/strong> con una notable participaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alcoy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.copealcoy.es\/es\/alcoy-celebra-la-festividad-del-corpus-christi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">celebr\u00f3 ayer la festividad del<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Corpus Christi <\/span><\/strong><\/a>con una de las citas religiosas m\u00e1s arraigadas del calendario local. La tradicional procesi\u00f3n recorri\u00f3 durante la tarde las principales calles del Centro de la ciudad y lo hizo acompa\u00f1ada por una notable participaci\u00f3n de fieles y numeroso p\u00fablico que sigui\u00f3 el acto a lo largo de todo el itinerario. Adem\u00e1s, la jornada estuvo marcada por unas temperaturas m\u00e1s suaves que las registradas en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La celebraci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 en la iglesia de <strong>Santa Mar\u00eda<\/strong> con la eucarist\u00eda previa y, pasadas las siete y media de la tarde, arranc\u00f3 la procesi\u00f3n. Como es habitual, la comitiva estuvo encabezada por los bailes populares del <strong>Grup de Danses Sant Jordi<\/strong>, que volvi\u00f3 a poner en escena elementos tradicionales como la <strong>Magrana<\/strong>, los <strong>Gegants i Cabuts<\/strong>, el <strong>Ball dels Arquets<\/strong> protagonizado por los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os y la caracter\u00edstica <strong>Moma<\/strong>, s\u00edmbolo del triunfo de la virtud sobre los siete pecados capitales. Tras las representaciones festivas desfilaron las asociaciones religiosas de la ciudad junto a los antiguos gremios, todos ellos acompa\u00f1ados por sus respectivos estandartes y patronos. Uno de los momentos m\u00e1s solemnes lleg\u00f3 cuando la <strong>Colla de Campaners d&#8217;Alcoi<\/strong> hizo sonar manualmente las campanas de la torre de Santa Mar\u00eda coincidiendo con la salida del <strong>Sant\u00edsimo Sacramento<\/strong>, portado en la custodia por integrantes del <strong>Gremio de Labradores<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Delante de Jes\u00fas Sacramentado participaron numerosos ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as que este a\u00f1o han recibido la <strong>Primera Comuni\u00f3n<\/strong>, encarg\u00e1ndose de lanzar p\u00e9talos de flores durante el recorrido y en los diferentes altares instalados para la adoraci\u00f3n eucar\u00edstica. Tambi\u00e9n tuvo un protagonismo especial la <strong>Asamblea General de la Asociaci\u00f3n de San Jorge<\/strong>, acompa\u00f1ada por los cargos festeros de 2027 y por el peque\u00f1o <strong>Alberto Costa S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, quien ejercer\u00e1 de <strong>Sant Jordiet<\/strong> en las pr\u00f3ximas Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos. El joven protagonista recibi\u00f3 numerosos aplausos a su paso. Con la bandera de San Jorge en la mano y luciendo la medalla del patr\u00f3n, particip\u00f3 en el que fue su primer acto oficial desde su designaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La parte final de la procesi\u00f3n estuvo reservada al clero y a las autoridades civiles, entre ellas varios miembros de la corporaci\u00f3n municipal encabezados por el vicealcalde <strong>\u00c0lex Cerradelo<\/strong>.
