{"id":163130,"date":"2026-01-24T10:44:55","date_gmt":"2026-01-24T09:44:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.copealcoy.es\/?p=163130"},"modified":"2026-02-01T10:54:05","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T09:54:05","slug":"la-bendicion-de-animales-por-sant-antoni-una-tradicion-que-tambien-mantiene-viva-cocentaina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.copealcoy.es\/es\/la-bendicion-de-animales-por-sant-antoni-una-tradicion-que-tambien-mantiene-viva-cocentaina\/","title":{"rendered":"La bendici\u00f3n de animales por Sant Antoni, una tradici\u00f3n que tambi\u00e9n mantiene viva Cocentaina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"478\">Cocentaina celebr\u00f3 a mediados de enero la festividad de <strong data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"80\">San Antonio Abad<\/strong> con uno de los actos m\u00e1s tradicionales y esperados por estas fechas: la <strong data-start=\"153\" data-end=\"178\">bendici\u00f3n de animales<\/strong> en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61551754323888\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Convento de los Padres Franciscanos<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. El ritual, que este a\u00f1o se adelant\u00f3 al viernes d\u00eda 16 para no coincidir con la Fireta de Sant Antoni de Muro, se desarroll\u00f3 en dos momentos del d\u00eda con el fin de facilitar la participaci\u00f3n del alumnado del <strong data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"454\">colegio San Francisco de As\u00eds<\/strong> y del resto de vecinos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"1011\">La <strong>primera bendici\u00f3n<\/strong> tuvo lugar a las dos del mediod\u00eda en la placita del Convento, con una notable presencia de familias del centro educativo, acompa\u00f1adas de sus mascotas. Incluso algunos ni\u00f1os acudieron con animales de peluche para que recibieran el agua bendita, siguiendo una costumbre que se renueva cada a\u00f1o por Sant Antoni. Ya por la tarde, minutos antes de las cinco, el sonido de las campanas anunci\u00f3 <strong>la segunda bendici\u00f3n<\/strong>, en la que participaron numerosos vecinos con perros, gatos, periquitos, h\u00e1msters e incluso tortugas. La ceremonia fue oficiada por <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1067\">Fray Carlos Palacios<\/strong>, residente desde hace unos meses en el convento franciscano de la Villa Condal, quien destac\u00f3 el car\u00e1cter especial de la jornada: \u201c<em>Es un d\u00eda muy bonito, en el que nuestras mascotas tienen su propia fiesta, y en el que pedimos a San Antonio Abad que las proteja durante todo el a\u00f1o, sin olvidar que fue San Francisco de As\u00eds quien nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 a amar y respetar a los animales<\/em>\u201d, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1782\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Pese a las bajas temperaturas, la participaci\u00f3n fue elevada y, tras la bendici\u00f3n vespertina, algunos asistentes permanecieron en el convento para participar en la <strong data-start=\"1608\" data-end=\"1687\">misa celebrada en la v\u00edspera de la festividad lit\u00fargica de San Antonio Abad<\/strong>, poniendo as\u00ed el broche final a una jornada marcada por la tradici\u00f3n y el sentimiento popular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cocentaina celebr\u00f3 a mediados de enero la festividad de San Antonio Abad con uno de los actos m\u00e1s tradicionales y&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":163131,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6909,98,75],"tags":[1738,132,16483,542],"class_list":["post-163130","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualidad","category-comarcas","category-noticias","tag-bendicion-de-animales","tag-cocentaina","tag-convento-de-los-franciscanos","tag-sant-antoni"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
