Tambi\u00e9n <strong>hemos hecho referencia a la posibilidad de que el 23 de abril del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o sea festivo<\/strong> con motivo del 750 aniversario del patronazgo de San Jorge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es 23 de octubre y\u00a0<strong>quedan justo seis meses para el pr\u00f3ximo 23 de abril<\/strong>, festividad de nuestro patr\u00f3n San Jorge. La jornada, que ya de por s\u00ed es significativa en Alcoy,\u00a0<strong>tendr\u00e1 un componente m\u00e1s especial si cabe en 2026<\/strong>\u00a0dado que se cumplir\u00e1n\u00a0<strong>750 a\u00f1os del patronazgo del insigne m\u00e1rtir<\/strong>, una efem\u00e9ride que se va a conmemorar con numerosos actos religiosos y festivos. De hecho,<strong>\u00a0la Santa Sede ha concedido un A\u00f1o Jubilar<\/strong>\u00a0por este motivo, que arrancar\u00e1 precisamente dentro de medio a\u00f1o, y que se alargar\u00e1 hasta el 23 de abril de 2027.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La\u00a0<strong>apertura del jubileo<\/strong>\u00a0est\u00e1 prevista para el d\u00eda de la fiesta lit\u00fargica de nuestro santo patr\u00f3n pero la fecha, por el momento, no ser\u00e1 festivo. Y es que el Ayuntamiento de Alcoy, tras proponerlo el Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social, aprob\u00f3 meses atr\u00e1s que\u00a0<strong>los festivos locales del 2026<\/strong>\u00a0sean el s\u00e1bado 25 de abril y el lunes 27 de abril. De esta forma la trilog\u00eda festera podr\u00e1 ser en fin de semana arrancando el viernes 24 con el Dia dels M\u00fasics, el s\u00e1bado 25 las Entradas, el domingo 26 la festividad de San Jorge y el lunes 27 el Alardo. Esta circunstancia deja fuera al 23 de abril ser festivo, algo que\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.asjordi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>la Asociaci\u00f3n de San Jorge<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0ha venido pidiendo reiteradamente en los \u00faltimos meses dado el car\u00e1cter extraordinario que tendr\u00e1 el 750 aniversario. Tanto la entidad festera, como el Ayuntamiento,\u00a0<strong>han trasladado la cuesti\u00f3n a diversas consellerias de la Generalitat Valenciana<\/strong>, que es la que tiene la competencia en esta cuesti\u00f3n, y el organismo a quien le corresponde dictaminar la posibilidad de que el mencionado 23 de abril sea festivo con car\u00e1cter recuperable\u00a0<em>\u201cse nos ha atendido muy bien pero es algo complicado, no nos vamos a enga\u00f1ar. Nosotros vamos a seguir insistiendo hasta el final para que pueda ser una realidad ya que de ser a no ser festivo condiciona la celebraci\u00f3n que se quiere hacer para abrir el A\u00f1o Jubilar. Quedan unos cuantos meses por delante, pero esperamos que pueda resolverse cuanto antes para concretar todo lo previsto para esa fecha<\/em>\u201c, dec\u00eda\u00a0 esta semana en el espacio\u00a0<strong>#LaNostraFesta<\/strong>\u00a0de COPE ALCOY, que conduce nuestro compa\u00f1ero Carlos Tal\u00e9ns, el presidente de la m\u00e1xima instituci\u00f3n festera;\u00a0<strong>Francisco Garc\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe recordar que ya se han dado algunos detalles de<strong>\u00a0la programaci\u00f3n del A\u00f1o Jubilar<\/strong>\u00a0y en la misma figuran acciones de car\u00e1cter social, la visita de la imagen infante de San Jorge a las parroquias, iglesias o colegios de la ciudad, o las peregrinaciones al templo del patr\u00f3n para recibir la indulgencia plenaria. Tambi\u00e9n se contemplan actos extraordinarios para las Fiestas de 2026, como un disparo de arcabucer\u00eda el 18 de abril en el que participar\u00edan poblaciones que tambi\u00e9n celebran moros y cristianos, y para el Mig Any del pr\u00f3ximo o las fiestas de 2027.
