Las piedras llegaron alcanzar en algunos puntos\u00a0m\u00e1s de 2 cent\u00edmetros de di\u00e1metro y tambi\u00e9n cayeron con fuerza en zonas de la Plana en el t\u00e9rmino municipal de Cocentaina.\u00a0La granizada fue una de las m\u00e1s intensas\u00a0de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la \u00faltima fuerte cay\u00f3 en 1993, y esto motiv\u00f3 que el Ayuntamiento\u00a0haya encargado a la Polic\u00eda Local un informe sobre la tempesta para ser remitido a los vecinos que lo requieran para entregarlo a sus compa\u00f1\u00edas de seguros seg\u00fan ha informado el alcalde, Francesc Valls. Adem\u00e1s el s\u00e1bado varias empresas privadas instalaron puestos ambulantes en la Avinguda de Gandia para proceder al cambio de los cristales de los coches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recordar que la Agencia Estatal de Meteorolog\u00eda (Aemet) prev\u00e9 para hoy\u00a0s\u00e1bado, chubascos, ocasionalmente con tormentas, que en la comarca podr\u00edan llegar a ser localmente fuertes\u00a0por la ma\u00f1ana empezando a remitir de cara a la tarde.
