Tambi\u00e9n os hemos contado que <strong>Alcoy sigue superando los 60.000 habitantes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alcoy ha registrado\u00a0<strong>un notable aumento en su poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, alcanzando\u00a0<strong>los 60.372 habitantes<\/strong>\u00a0a fecha del 1 de enero de 2024, seg\u00fan los \u00faltimos datos del\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ine.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica (INE)<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. Esta cifra\u00a0<strong>representa un incremento de 879 personas en comparaci\u00f3n con el a\u00f1o anterior<\/strong>\u00a0y de 1.412 respecto a 2022, marcando as\u00ed el nivel m\u00e1s alto desde 2012. Con este crecimiento,\u00a0<strong>Alcoy ha recuperado el sexto lugar en la clasificaci\u00f3n de poblaciones de la provincia de Alicante<\/strong>, superando a San Vicente del Raspeig, tal y como aseguran desde el consistorio de nuestra ciudad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este sentido, cabe destacar que\u00a0<strong>el ranking poblacional lo lidera Alicante con 358.720 habitantes<\/strong>, seguido por Elche (243.128), Torrevieja (94.803) y Orihuela (83.720). Benidorm ocupa el quinto lugar con 74.663 habitantes, mientras que Alcoy se posiciona con sus 60.372, dejando atr\u00e1s a Elda (53.818), D\u00e9nia (46.942) y Santa Pola (38.556).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar de que\u00a0<strong>Alcoy presenta un crecimiento vegetativo negativo<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014es decir, hay m\u00e1s muertes que nacimientos\u2014, la ciudad<strong>\u00a0ha visto un aumento significativo en su poblaci\u00f3n gracias a la llegada de nuevos residentes<\/strong>. Este fen\u00f3meno se debe en gran parte a\u00a0<strong>las oportunidades laborales<\/strong>\u00a0que ofrece la ciudad, que cuenta con dos campus universitarios y una escuela superior de dise\u00f1o, atrayendo as\u00ed a estudiantes y profesionales j\u00f3venes \u00ab<em>continuaremos trabajando en nuevas acciones y proyectos que nos permitan seguir creciendo. Cada vez m\u00e1s personas establecen su residencia en nuestra ciudad atra\u00eddas por las oportunidades de encontrar una ocupaci\u00f3n de calidad, factores a los que tenemos que sumar la calidad de vida, la movilidad sostenible, el entorno natural y la rica oferta cultural, deportiva y de ocio de Alcoy que tambi\u00e9n han jugado un papel crucial, convirti\u00e9ndolo en un lugar deseable para familias y j\u00f3venes profesionales que buscan un equilibrio entre trabajo y bienestar<\/em>\u00ab, afirma el alcalde;\u00a0<strong>Toni Franc\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En\u00a0<strong>comparaci\u00f3n con 2012<\/strong>, cuando la ciudad ten\u00eda 60.837 habitantes y una tasa de desempleo significativamente mayor \u20148.195 personas paradas\u2014, actualmente hay menos desempleo con solo 4.708 personas sin trabajo y un aumento en las afiliaciones a la Seguridad Social, que han pasado de 13.849 a 17.500. Adem\u00e1s, se estima que\u00a0<strong>Alcoy tiene una poblaci\u00f3n flotante de alrededor de 2.000 personas<\/strong>\u00a0que residen temporalmente en la ciudad, principalmente estudiantes que podr\u00edan establecerse permanentemente tras finalizar sus estudios si apuestan por desempe\u00f1ar su actividad laboral en las empresas de la ciudad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hoy martes hemos recordado que el Grado en Medicina se seguir\u00e1 impartiendo en la Universidad de Alicante.
