La primera en subir al escenario fue la presidenta de la Junta de Fiestas, Pepa Prats, que aprovech\u00f3 para invitar a todos a disfrutar de los festejos que se celebrar\u00e1n el segundo fin de semana de agosto en honor a San Hip\u00f3lito M\u00e1rtir. Seguidamente se descubri\u00f3 el cartel anunciador, obra de Manuel Boronat, y que destaca por la presencia del castillo de fiestas sobre las figuras de un moro y un cristiano. A continuaci\u00f3n se dieron a conocer los nombres de los cuatro protagonistas: Salvador Ribes Uris abanderado moro de los Bereberes- Borts, Juan Luis Jord\u00e0 abanderado cristiano de la fil\u00e0 Cavallers de Lluria, Javier Goz\u00e1lbez capit\u00e1n moro de la Manta Roja y Antonio Prats capit\u00e1n cristiano de los Cruzados. \u00a0Todos ellos tomaron la palabra y recibieron un obsequio en recuerdo de este a\u00f1o tan especial. Tambi\u00e9n se present\u00f3 oficialmente en sociedad al director del himno, el trombonista Javier Colomer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La velada continu\u00f3 con la intervenci\u00f3n del mantenedor, Vicent Palac\u00ed, y finaliz\u00f3 con las palabras de la alcaldesa de la Villa Condal, Mireia Estepa, que aprovech\u00f3 para dirigirse por primera vez al mundo festero contestano.
