Tambi\u00e9n hemos avanzado<strong> la fecha en la que se materializar\u00e1 el traslado de las cenizas de Camilo Sesto al mausoleo en su honor<\/strong> que se ha habilitado en el Cementerio Municipal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El\u00a0<strong>pr\u00f3ximo 16 de septiembre<\/strong>\u00a0se llevar\u00e1 a cabo\u00a0<strong>el traslado de las cenizas de Camilo Blanes Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, nuestro a\u00f1orado Camilo Sesto, al\u00a0<strong>mausoleo<\/strong>\u00a0que se ha construido en su memoria en el Cementerio Municipal San Antonio Abad de Alcoy. Esta fecha\u00a0<strong>coincide con el aniversario del fallecimiento de nuestro cantante m\u00e1s internacional<\/strong>, el cual dej\u00f3 una gran huella en el \u00e1mbito de la m\u00fasica y el terreno art\u00edstico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La\u00a0<strong>financiaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0del dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n del pante\u00f3n-mausoleo ha sido asumida por su heredero, Camilo Miguel Blanes Ornelas. Por su parte, el\u00a0<strong>mantenimiento<\/strong>\u00a0del espacio exterior estar\u00e1 a cargo del personal municipal del cementerio. El proyecto\u00a0<strong>ha sido dise\u00f1ado por el arquitecto Miguel Botella Ruiz Castillo<\/strong>, contratado por la familia para llevar a cabo esta emotiva obra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe recordar que el\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ajuntamentalcoi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ayuntamiento de Alcoy<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<strong>cedi\u00f3 la parcela necesaria para la construcci\u00f3n del mausoleo\u00a0<\/strong>mientras que la familia tuvo que presentar el proyecto para su aprobaci\u00f3n ante el \u00f3rgano municipal competente, cumpliendo con los informes t\u00e9cnicos requeridos debido a la singularidad del cementerio alcoyano.\u00a0Adem\u00e1s, se acord\u00f3 que tanto la maqueta del mausoleo como toda la documentaci\u00f3n relacionada con este proceso\u00a0<strong>estar\u00e1n expuestas en la parte final del museo<\/strong>\u00a0dedicado al artista que ser\u00e1 pronto una realidad en el inmueble que ocupaba el antiguo asilo de El Cam\u00ed .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El cantante alcoyano es considerado<strong>\u00a0una figura representativa en la historia reciente de la ciudad<\/strong>, habiendo recibido\u00a0<strong>honores<\/strong>\u00a0como la Medalla de Oro y el t\u00edtulo de Hijo Predilecto de Alcoy, otorgados por acuerdo del Pleno del Ayuntamiento en noviembre de 2016. Asimismo, en noviembre de 2018 se aprob\u00f3 cambiar el nombre de la avenida de La Alameda a \u201cAlameda Camilo Sesto\u201d en reconocimiento a su legado. Camilo Sesto\u00a0<strong>falleci\u00f3 el 8 de septiembre de 2019<\/strong>\u00a0y actualmente descansa en el cementerio alcoyano junto a sus padres.
