El distintivo <strong>fue entregado ayer en el transcurso de un breve acto<\/strong> celebrado en la sala cultural de Fundaci\u00f3n Mutua de Levante de la plaza de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ana Catal\u00e0<\/strong>, coordinadora de ASPANION en Alicante, destac\u00f3 que gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n de\u00a0 Fundaci\u00f3n Mutua de Levante se han podido desarrollar importantes proyectos, como <strong>la habilitaci\u00f3n de pisos en Valencia y Alicante<\/strong>. Estos alojamientos permiten que los padres y sus hijos est\u00e9n m\u00e1s cerca de los hospitales donde estos \u00faltimos reciben tratamientos oncol\u00f3gicos &#8220;<em>facilitando as\u00ed su acceso a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica necesaria de una forma inmediata puestos que en ambas ciudades encontramos los \u00fanicos centros sanitarios de referencia donde se aborda el C\u00e1ncer infantil<\/em>&#8220;, se\u00f1al\u00f3.\u00a0Adem\u00e1s, Catal\u00e0 subray\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de una <strong>Escuela Hospitalaria de Verano<\/strong>, que garantiza la continuidad educativa para los peque\u00f1os ingresados durante esta \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o. Este programa no solo permite que los ni\u00f1os sigan aprendiendo, sino que tambi\u00e9n les ofrece actividades recreativas para su desarrollo integral. Por \u00faltimo hizo referencia a que, con el apoyo de Mutua de Levante, se ponen en marcha unas <strong>Jornadas de Convivencia para Supervivientes con C\u00e1ncer<\/strong> en las que se habla del proceso vivido pero tambi\u00e9n de las secuelas que a largo plazo dejan algunos de los tratamientos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte <strong>Elena Turri\u00f3n<\/strong>, consejera ejecutiva de Mutua Levante y vicepresidenta de la Fundaci\u00f3n, expres\u00f3 su agradecimiento por este reconocimiento y <strong>elogi\u00f3 el papel fundamental que desempe\u00f1a ASPANION<\/strong> en el apoyo a las familias en momentos tan dif\u00edciles como el diagn\u00f3stico de C\u00e1ncer infantil. Finalmente, <strong>Alejandro L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, vicepresidente de ASPANION, tambi\u00e9n <strong>mostr\u00f3 su gratitud hacia Mutua de Levante por hacer posibles estos proyectos y respaldar a la entidad<\/strong> en todo momento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apuntar que ASPANION <strong>se cre\u00f3 en 1985<\/strong> y desde entonces ha prestado un importante apoyo a las familias afectadas al igual que ha contribuido a mejorar la calidad de vida de los peque\u00f1os que padecen a enfermedad.
