Tambi\u00e9n nos hemos centrado en <strong>el proyecto del Centro de Primeras Acogidas<\/strong> que estaba previsto en las instalaciones de la antigua Base Militar de Aitana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Gobierno Central\u00a0<strong>ha descartado habilitar un centro de primeras llegadas de refugiados en la antigua Base Militar de Aitana<\/strong>\u00a0ubicada en el t\u00e9rmino municipal de Alcoleja. El proyecto<a href=\"https:\/\/www.copealcoy.es\/la-antigua-base-militar-de-aitana-sera-reconvertida-en-centro-de-acogida-para-refugiados\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">fue anunciado el pasado verano durante una visita que hizo el Ministro Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Escriv\u00e1 a las instalaciones<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0y hab\u00eda despertado mucha controversia ya que en poblaciones cercanas como Benilloba o la misma Alcoleja muchos vecinos se hab\u00edan mostrado contrarios a esta infraestructura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La actuaci\u00f3n prevista por el ejecutivo de Pedro S\u00e1nchez\u00a0<strong>contemplaba intervenir en una superficie de 53.000 metros cuadrados<\/strong>\u00a0en el punto de m\u00e1s altitud de la provincia de Alicante para rehabilitar las instalaciones militares, ahora en desuso, y con una inversi\u00f3n de unos 25 millones de euros. Un proyecto calificado de \u00ab<em>ambicioso<\/em>\u00bb por Escriv\u00e1 que iba a disponer\u00a0<strong>de una capacidad para 600 refugiados\u00a0<\/strong>y un complejo que<strong>\u00a0iba a tener<\/strong>\u00a0una parte dirigida a la recepci\u00f3n de personas por situaciones internacionales urgentes y otra para personas de estancias m\u00e1s largas o, incluso, permanentes, estim\u00e1ndose una ocupaci\u00f3n media de entre 200 y 300 usuarios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahora el Gobierno Central\u00a0<strong>da marcha atr\u00e1s porque las edificaciones est\u00e1n en un avanzado estado de ruina y ante el fuerte rechazo que ha generado el mencionado proyecto<\/strong>\u00a0en la zona. Y es que en los \u00faltimos meses\u00a0<strong>se han ido incrementando las voces cr\u00edticas<\/strong>\u00a0que reclamaban la paralizaci\u00f3n de la idea de hacer un centro de primeras llegadas al considerar que la zona no re\u00fane las condiciones \u00f3ptimas para ello \u00ab<em>el edificio est\u00e1 en mitad de la monta\u00f1a, alejado de los puntos donde se produce llegada masiva de inmigrantes a Espa\u00f1a, y adem\u00e1s pretend\u00edan hacerlo en unos municipios donde tenemos importantes carencias en comunicaciones por carretera o en materia de seguridad. Ve\u00edamos con gran preocupaci\u00f3n que el centro fuera una realidad\u00bb,\u00a0<\/em>explicaba en COPE ALCOY<strong>\u00a0Rub\u00e9n Catal\u00e1<\/strong>, uno de los integrantes de la plataforma \u2018Salvem Aitana\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por el momento\u00a0<strong>se desconoce si los restos de la Base de Aitana tendr\u00e1n un nuevo uso<\/strong>\u00a0o si el gobierno central contempla otro proyecto para la zona.
