Datos escalofriantes que en la provincia de Alicante se traducen en que<strong> a d\u00eda de hoy hay 12.000 personas que padecen alg\u00fan tipo de C\u00e1ncer cada a\u00f1o<\/strong>, lo que afecta a cerca de 60.000 personas, contando con la familia y el entorno cercano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por este motivo, y ante este escenario,<strong> juegan un papel importante entidades como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100064604323239&amp;sk=photos_by\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">SOLC<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. La Asociaci\u00f3n cumple en este 2024 <strong>veinticinco a\u00f1os<\/strong> prestando apoyo en el tratamiento del C\u00e1ncer pero tambi\u00e9n a las familias de las personas que son diagnosticadas con la enfermedad &#8220;<em>yo animo a la gente que en el momento en el que les digan que tienen C\u00e1ncer no duden en llamar a SOLC para buscar ayuda. All\u00ed les escuchar\u00e1n y les prestar\u00e1n todas las atenciones que precisan en cuestiones como informaci\u00f3n sobre tratamientos, ayuda psicol\u00f3gica o atenci\u00f3n personalizada por parte de un nutricionista<\/em>&#8220;, contaba en COPE ALCOY <strong>Mari Carmen Bustos<\/strong>, integrante del colectivo tras haber recibido el diagn\u00f3stico de C\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde SOLC insisten en<strong> la importancia de participar en los programas de cribado y de prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong> que est\u00e1n en marcha en nuestro Departamento de Salud para <strong>tumores como los de Mama, Colon o C\u00e9rvix<\/strong>. Este \u00faltimo se ha implantado recientemente, pero en el caso de los dos primeros, con varias d\u00e9cadas de funcionamiento; <strong>se han dado muy bueno resultados<\/strong> &#8220;<em>y es que la detecci\u00f3n precoz es clave para coger a tiempo la enfermedad, para evitar un tratamiento m\u00e1s agresivo y para conseguir un elevado \u00edndice de supervivencia. Normalmente cuando recibimos la citaci\u00f3n nos da miedo ir por si no encuentran algo, pero si nos lo encuentran en un estadio temprano las posibilidades de curaci\u00f3n son muchas<\/em>&#8220;, se\u00f1ala.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Llega la XIV Semana de la Salud<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Precisamente para visibilizar la enfermedad, y la labor que desempe\u00f1a SOLC, <strong>se ha vuelto a organizar una nueva Semana de la Salud<\/strong> que alcanza la edici\u00f3n n\u00famero 14. Las actividades previstas comienzan el lunes 27 de mayo con una meditaci\u00f3n acompa\u00f1ada de sonidos de cuencos tibetanos en el Campus de Alcoy de la UPV mientras que el 29 de mayo ser\u00e1 el taller &#8216;Descubre tus fortalezas&#8217; en el Centre Social Real Blanc de Cocentaina. El 31 de mayo el taller ser\u00e1 en el Centre Social Polivalent de Ibi y recibe el nombre de &#8216;Risoterapia y emociones positivas&#8217; mientras que los d\u00edas 7 y 8 de junio se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en el Campus de Alcoy de la UPV bajo el nombre &#8220;Psicolog\u00eda, salud y deporte&#8221;.
