Tambi\u00e9n hemos comentado <strong>cuestiones referidas al futuro del Monumento de San Jorge<\/strong> que se ubica en La Rosaleda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las\u00a0<strong>obras de la Rosaleda<\/strong>\u00a0no dejan de avanzar y durante esta semana<strong>\u00a0se ha desmontado la estructura de hierro que recae a la calle Cid<\/strong>\u00a0mientras que en la superficie\u00a0<strong>es totalmente visible la retirada de jardines o pavimento<\/strong>. El que sigue todav\u00eda en pie\u00a0<strong>es el Monumento dedicado a San Jorge<\/strong>\u00a0que preside la llamada Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n, una pieza que<strong>\u00a0tampoco ser\u00e1 ajena a la remodelaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0que se est\u00e1 ejecutando en esta enclave de cara a adaptarlo a la legalidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde el\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alcoi.org\/ca\/portal\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ayuntamiento de Alcoy\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/span>contemplan que\u00a0<strong>pr\u00f3ximamente tendr\u00e1 que ser retirada la escultura<\/strong>\u00a0y avanzan que est\u00e1n trabajando en\u00a0<strong>licitar un contrato para poder llevar a cabo la restauraci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0de la misma. En este sentido confirman que\u00a0<strong>los trabajos tendr\u00e1n que hacerse en otro espacio<\/strong>\u00a0por lo que no descartan poder volver al Parque de Cervantes donde ya estuvo la pieza mientras se hac\u00eda el aparcamiento a principios de la d\u00e9cada del dos mil. Tambi\u00e9n\u00a0<strong>se baraja la posibilidad de que esa restauraci\u00f3n sea visible<\/strong>\u00a0para que la ciudadan\u00eda pueda ver la forma en la que se desarrolla.\u00a0\u00a0Y es que la imagen del patr\u00f3n\u00a0<strong>presenta un notable desgaste por el paso del tiempo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>las inclemencias meteorol\u00f3gicas o la humedad<\/strong>\u00a0a la que ha estado sometida por estar colocada sobre un surtidor \u00ab<em>en ese proceso se va a intentar que el conjunto recupere el aspecto que ten\u00eda originalmente, cuando se estren\u00f3 en La Rosaleda, porque en la restauraci\u00f3n que se hizo hace casi dos d\u00e9cadas se le dio un tono que nada tiene que ver. Este gobierno se lo encontr\u00f3 ya as\u00ed<\/em>\u00ab, dijo esta semana el concejal de Fiestas;\u00a0<strong>Jordi Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, en declaraciones al espacio #LaNostraFesta. Mart\u00ednez tambi\u00e9n record\u00f3 que cuando finalicen las obras,\u00a0<strong>Sant Jordi volver\u00e1 a La Rosaleda<\/strong>\u00a0quedando ubicado en la parte del nuevo jard\u00edn m\u00e1s pr\u00f3xima a la Avinguda Camilo Sesto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Monumento de Sant Jordi\u00a0<strong>fue inaugurado el 21 de abril de 1983<\/strong>\u00a0y el proyecto fue posible por suscripci\u00f3n popular en conmemoraci\u00f3n del VII Centenario del Patronazgo de Sant Jordi. Se trata de un grupo escult\u00f3rico de Gonzalvo, cargado de simbolismo, y en el que se muestra un Sant Jordi de paz, acompa\u00f1ado de diferentes elementos que representan a la industria, el trabajo, el arte, la m\u00fasica y las Fiestas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hoy lunes hemos destacado los datos de ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera que se dieron en Alcoy durante el pasado a\u00f1o.
