Tambi\u00e9n hemos hablado del <strong>incremento de los problemas de salud mental<\/strong> entre la poblaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s joven.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab<em>Llega un momento en que dices: esto va a poder con mi salud<\/em>\u00bb.\u00a0<strong>Gemma es una joven de 17 a\u00f1os<\/strong>\u00a0que estudia segundo de bachillerato en un instituto de Alcoy. Como mucha gente de su edad, ha sufrido ansiedad por los estudios. Y esto es algo com\u00fan. Seg\u00fan datos de la\u00a0<strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>siete de cada diez j\u00f3venes -entre 10 y 19 a\u00f1os- tienen un problema de salud mental<\/strong>. Pero, \u00bfsaben reconocerlo y c\u00f3mo actuar?.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Alba Masi\u00e1<\/strong>, psic\u00f3loga infantojuvenil, explica en COPE ALCOY que, aunque la gente est\u00e1 cada vez m\u00e1s concienciada, de salud mental a\u00fan no se habla con naturalidad. Todo ello a pesar de que, seg\u00fan la\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/comunicalasaludmental.org\/guiadeestilo\/la-salud-mental-en-cifras\/#espana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Confederaci\u00f3n Salud Mental Espa\u00f1a<\/strong><\/a><\/span>,\u00a0<strong>una de cada cuatro personas tiene o tendr\u00e1 una enfermedad mental a lo largo de su vida<\/strong>. \u00ab<em>A d\u00eda de hoy\u00a0<strong>todav\u00eda existe un estigma<\/strong>\u00a0que hace que las personas que padecen problemas de salud mental se sientan avergonzadas y que no se sientan c\u00f3modas para hablar de ello<\/em>\u00bb. Y a edades tempranas, sucede lo mismo. \u00ab<em>Yo creo que los j\u00f3venes tenemos muy poca informaci\u00f3n. Son temas que a veces, de manera inconsciente, intentamos evadir, porque cuando eres estudiante es lo \u00faltimo a lo que le dedicas tiempo<\/em>\u00bb, confiesa Gemma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y cuando no sabemos c\u00f3mo gestionar una situaci\u00f3n dif\u00edcil,\u00a0<strong>acudir al psic\u00f3logo es un primer paso fundamental<\/strong>. \u00ab<em>A los meses de empezar el curso ya no pod\u00eda m\u00e1s. Ten\u00eda ex\u00e1menes y tanta presi\u00f3n que ni siquiera quer\u00eda comer. No ten\u00eda hambre. Yo lo que hice fue hablar con mi familia e ir a un psic\u00f3logo, porque es lo que hay que hacer. Hay que normalizar este hecho<\/em>\u00bb. Sin embargo, aunque la estudiante lo tuvo claro, no todos los j\u00f3venes entienden la importancia de hablar con un especialista. \u00ab<em>La gente piensa que algo muy malo tiene que pasarte para que vayas al psic\u00f3logo<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La psic\u00f3loga s\u00ed ha notado un aumento en la demanda de consultas, aunque remarca la\u00a0<strong>importancia de que se invierta m\u00e1s en recursos<\/strong>\u00a0para poder atenderlas. \u00ab<em>Necesitamos una atenci\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica de calidad. No tenerla hace que los problemas que hoy en d\u00eda son leves se conviertan en algo grave<\/em>\u00bb. Y en este punto no se puede pasar por alto la\u00a0<strong>incidencia que tiene la depresi\u00f3n en nuestro pa\u00eds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab<em>Tambi\u00e9n ha aumentado la demanda de consultas por problemas de ansiedad<\/em>\u00bb. Datos del\u00a0<strong>Ministerio de Sanidad<\/strong>\u00a0revelan que\u00a0<strong>el 6,7% de la poblaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola est\u00e1 diagnosticada por un transtorno de ansiedad<\/strong>. \u00ab<em>Este es uno de los mayores h\u00e1ndicaps a los que se enfrentan los j\u00f3venes, por ejemplo en \u00e9pocas de estudio<\/em>\u00bb, a\u00f1ade Masi\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Salud mental en las aulas<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con una realidad as\u00ed resulta fundamental que\u00a0<strong>se act\u00fae desde los centros educativos<\/strong>. \u00ab<em>Desde los centros se empieza a trabajar en la lucha contra este estigma. Se intenta comprender y dar apoyo a los j\u00f3venes. En una situaci\u00f3n as\u00ed muchos no saben muy bien lo que les pasa, c\u00f3mo gestionarlo, se sienten avergonzados por pasar por un estado de ansiedad<\/em>\u00bb, explica la psic\u00f3loga. A\u00fan as\u00ed, todav\u00eda\u00a0<strong>falta camino por recorrer<\/strong>\u00a0en colegios e institutos. \u00ab<em>Este a\u00f1o he tenido solo una charla sobre salud mental.
