Adem\u00e1s nos hemos centrado en <strong>las cifras de abandono animal\u00a0<\/strong>de nuestra ciudad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las\u00a0<strong>cifras de abandono de animales<\/strong>\u00a0han ca\u00eddo notablemente en Alcoy en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os y e<strong>l albergue municipal que gestiona la Sociedad Protectora de Animales y Plantas ha dejado atr\u00e1s el punto de saturaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0al que lleg\u00f3 por ejemplo en 2017. Y es que aquel a\u00f1o\u00a0<strong>se registraron unas 250 entradas<\/strong>\u00a0mientras que\u00a0<strong>en el reci\u00e9n terminado 2023 fueron 50<\/strong>\u00a0las que se contabilizaron.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde la Protectora\u00a0 alcoyana justifican este hecho en\u00a0<strong>las campa\u00f1as\u00a0 que se han hecho en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os para concienciar a la ciudadan\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0sobre la importancia de no abandonar un animal de compa\u00f1\u00eda, iniciativas que\u00a0<strong>se han repetido durante todo el a\u00f1o<\/strong>\u00a0pero tambi\u00e9n en \u00e9pocas cr\u00edticas como periodos vacacionales o tras la Navidad donde muchas mascotas llegan a una casa como regalo de Reyes. Adem\u00e1s destacan que\u00a0<strong>ha crecido la concienciaci\u00f3n entre la poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0y cada vez son m\u00e1s\u00a0<strong>los que optan por adoptar un perro<\/strong>\u00a0antes que comprarlo \u00ab<em>yo he llegado a estar en el albergue con una situaci\u00f3n l\u00edmite y en estos momentos algunas actividades que sol\u00edamos hacer, como los paseos voluntarios de mascotas los domingos, casi no se pueden realizar porque ha bajado considerablemente el n\u00famero de entradas. Detr\u00e1s de esto est\u00e1 la buena noticia de la reducci\u00f3n de entradas por abandono<\/em>\u00ab, contaba en el #TiempoDeAn\u00e1lisis de COPE ALCOY;\u00a0<strong>Carles Bern\u00e0cer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mientras bajan los abandonos de perros\u00a0<strong>destaca en la cara opuesta la proliferaci\u00f3n de colonias de gatos<\/strong>. Desde el Ayuntamiento de\u00a0 se\u00f1alan el importante trabajo que hacen colectivos como\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/protectoradealcoy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">la<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Protectora\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">o<a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/gatitosalcoy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u00a0la Asociaci\u00f3n A los Gatitos de Alcoy<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0para controlar que no se incremente la poblaci\u00f3n de gatos y\u00a0<strong>destacan algunas de las\u00a0 medidas<\/strong>\u00a0que han empezado a aplicarse a ra\u00edz de la Ley de Bienestar Animal como el hecho de que los mismos gatos tengan que llevar chip \u00ab<em>son acciones importantes para evitar la reproducci\u00f3n incontrolada de estas especies, apostando por la mejora de la salubridad y tambi\u00e9n por el bienestar animal<\/em>\u00ab, destaca\u00a0<strong>Carles Sansalvador<\/strong>; edil de Sanidad del Consistorio alcoyano.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hoy jueves hemos hablado del cambio de tiempo que tendremos a partir de ma\u00f1ana en nuestras comarcas.
