Sin embargo, es lo que viven desde hace a\u00f1os los <strong>vecinos del barrio de Batoi de Alcoy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Los <strong>fuertes olores que desprenden los vertidos de una industria agroalimentaria del pol\u00edgono del Castellar<\/strong> llegan a diferentes puntos del barrio, algo que los vecinos llevan a\u00f1os reivindicando.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En 2021 se intent\u00f3 solucionar<\/strong> creando una red separativa que llevara el vertido del pol\u00edgono hasta el colector de la calle Sotarroni, donde llega tambi\u00e9n el vertido de los residentes. Se instal\u00f3 una trampilla basculante para evitar posibles filtraciones. Sin embargo, lejos de mejorar, <strong>la situaci\u00f3n ha empeorado<\/strong>. &#8220;Una parte del barrio soporta los olores que emanan tanto del alcantarillado como de los desag\u00fces de las viviendas. No son l\u00f3gicas ni las molestias iniciales ni las consecuencias de una intervenci\u00f3n posterior insuficiente&#8221;, ha asegurado <strong>Mari Carmen Paredes<\/strong>, edil de <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.guanyaralcoi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Guanyar Alcoi<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, en declaraciones a <strong>Cope Alcoy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de las actuaciones llevadas a cabo en 2021, el problema se ocasionaba por la evacuaci\u00f3n de vertidos que se realizaba por un ramal muy superficial y en mal estado. Esto provocaba que los olores se filtraran f\u00e1cilmente hasta la superficie. La ausencia de una red separativa de los derrames industriales y dom\u00e9sticos provocaba saturaciones puntuales en la red, agraviados por el funcionamiento limitado del colector del barrio.<\/p>\n<p>Desde Guanyar Alcoi<strong> instan al Gobierno municipal a que solucione urgentemente este problema<\/strong>. &#8220;Los vecinos y vecinas no pueden convivir ni un d\u00eda m\u00e1s con unos olores insalubres e insoportables&#8221;, ha puntualizado la edil.
