Se trata de <strong>la enfermedad neurodegenerativa m\u00e1s com\u00fan<\/strong>. Preicsamente este jueves, <strong>21 de septiembre<\/strong>, se celebra <strong>el D\u00eda Mundial del Alzh\u00e9imer<\/strong>. Una jornada para reivindicar, pero tambi\u00e9n para conocer m\u00e1s de cerca las realidad de las personas que padecen esta enfermedad y de sus familias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y este es uno de los objetivos de <strong>AFA Alcoy<\/strong>. &#8220;<strong>Nuestra labor est\u00e1 dedicada al enfermo y al cuidador o al familiar<\/strong> que lo cuida. Empieza con el enfermo, que es en el que vamos notando que tiene sus dificultades. Pero si no curamos al cuidador en poco tiempo tendremos dos enfermos&#8221;, ha explicado <strong>Lirios Aracil<\/strong>, presidenta de AFA Alcoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se trata de una enfermedad sobre la que a\u00fan queda mucho por investiga. Actualente no tiene cura. Es por esto que son varias las <strong>reivindicaciones<\/strong> que tanto AFA Alcoy como el resto de asociaciones tienen &#8220;La primera y principal es l<strong>a detecci\u00f3n precoz de la enfermedad<\/strong>. Si no, cuando vienen a los centros est\u00e1n ya tan avanzados que podemos hacer muy poco&#8221;, ha explicado Aracil. A esto se suma que se les reconozca como una entidad especializada. &#8220;Los centros de Alzh\u00e9imer de la Comunitat Valenciana est\u00e1n tratados como centros de mayores normales, no como centros espec\u00edficos de tratamiento. Es una reivindicaci\u00f3n con la que llevamos muchos a\u00f1os&#8221;, a\u00f1ade la presidenta de la entidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde AFA Alcoy son muchas las <strong>actividades que se han preparado<\/strong> a lo largo de toda la semana y en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas para conmemorar este D\u00eda Mundial del Alzh\u00e9imer. Charlas, mesas informativas, una Volta als Ponts solidaria&#8230; Puedes consultar el programa de actividades <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alzheimeralcoi.org\/dia-mundial-del-alzheimer-1\/programa-dia-mundial-del-alzheimer-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>aqu\u00ed<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Formas de ayudar hay muchas.
