Segu\u00ed lleva al frente de la alcald\u00eda de esta localidad del Comtat desde el a\u00f1o\u00a01972 y aspira as\u00ed a seguir siendo el primer edil\u00a0m\u00e1s veterano de la Comunidad Valenciana y uno de los m\u00e1s antiguos de Espa\u00f1a. El propio alcalde de Almudaina\u00a0afirma que mantendr\u00e1 su m\u00e9todo de trabajo que le ha llevado a mantenerse durante tantos a\u00f1os en la alcald\u00eda &#8220;me gusta mucho trabajar por mi pueblo, escuchar a los vecinos y tener una relaci\u00f3n de tu a tu. Mientras las fuerzas me acompa\u00f1en seguir\u00e1 dando guerra&#8221;, ha\u00a0expresado\u00a0en Cope Alcoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otra parte apuntar en relaci\u00f3n a las elecciones municipales del pr\u00f3ximo 24 de mayo que el Partido Popular de la Provincia de Alicante ha anunciado tambi\u00e9n el nombre de varios alcaldables de la comarca, concretamente de poblaciones inferiores a 20.000 habitantes.
