El <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.copealcoy.es\/los-bomberos-de-la-montana-se-unen-a-la-extincion-del-incendio-de-castellon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">primer gran fuego ha sido el de Villanueva de Viver<\/a><\/span>, en Castell\u00f3n, que ha calcinado 4.700 hect\u00e1reas. En Alcoy y comarca tambi\u00e9n se han vivido los <strong>primeros incendios forestales<\/strong>. El peligro de que nuestros montes ardan est\u00e1 ah\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una situaci\u00f3n que ya se vivi\u00f3 el pasado verano con la oleada de incendios que sufri\u00f3 la Comunitat Valenciana -el m\u00e1s grave el de la Vall d&#8217;Ebo-. Se puso en evidencia la <strong>necesidad de mejorar en prevenci\u00f3n de incendios<\/strong>. Sin embargo, las actuaciones en esta materia han sido escasas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero, \u00bfseguimos a tiempo de preparar nuestros montes de cara al verano? &#8220;Estamos casi a final de primavera. Son \u00e9pocas en las que muchas aves nidifican y otros animales est\u00e1n en \u00e9poca de reproducci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, <strong>el uso de maquinaria es un peligro y m\u00e1s este a\u00f1o que tenemos una sequ\u00eda tan importante<\/strong>&#8220;, explica <strong>Tono Belda<\/strong>, profesor del departamento de Ciencias de la Tierra y Medio Ambiente de la <strong>Universidad de Alicante (UA)<\/strong>, en declaraciones a <strong>Cope Alcoy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la ciudad, las diferentes <strong>urbanizaciones rurales deben contar con un plan de autoprotecci\u00f3n de incendios forestales,<\/strong> actuaciones que deben ser sufragadas por los propios vecinos. En el caso del <strong>Estepar<\/strong>, el coste de las mismas resulta complicado de asumir por parte de la urbanizaci\u00f3n. &#8220;Se trata de la ejecuci\u00f3n de un cortafuegos perimetral de autoprotecci\u00f3n en todo el contorno de la zona urbana del Estepar, que contempla <strong>una superficie de un 1.356.394,43 metros cuadrados<\/strong>. Dada la extensi\u00f3n y magnitud, es econ\u00f3micamente inviable la ejecuci\u00f3n&#8221;, aseguraba <strong>Amalia Pay\u00e1<\/strong>, edil popular, en el <strong>Pleno Municipal<\/strong> de este martes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El <strong>Ayuntamiento de Alcoy<\/strong> ha anunciado una <strong>inversi\u00f3n de la Conselleria de Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica de 37.000 euros<\/strong> para realizar diferentes actuaciones de prevenci\u00f3n en El Estepar, concretamente en el entorno del Barranc de la Batalla. &#8220;Recordamos que el per\u00edmetro es muy grande. Sobre todo vamos a trabajar en la parte de poniente y norte del Braranc de la Batalla. Son las zonas m\u00e1s peligrosas teniendo en cuenta la direcci\u00f3n del viento, el combustible que hay&#8230;&#8221;, explicaba <strong>Jordi Silvestre<\/strong>, edil de Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica, durante el Pleno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, para su ejecuci\u00f3n hay que tener en cuenta ciertos riesgos. &#8220;Toda inversi\u00f3n siempre es buena, pero la l\u00e1stima es que en muchos casos llega tarde. Habr\u00eda que ver si se puede hacer ahora, porque el uso de maquinaria en la sierra tiene un riesgo a\u00f1adido. <strong>No ser\u00eda la primera vez que trabajar en el campo provocara otro incendio<\/strong>.
