Adem\u00e1s hemos puesto el acento<strong> en el brote de sarna<\/strong> que ha sufrido la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Era una enfermedad que estaba pr\u00e1cticamente erradicada en nuestro pa\u00eds, pero\u00a0<strong>la sarna<\/strong>\u00a0vuelve a estar en boca de todos tras un aumento significativo de los casos en Espa\u00f1a. Y Alcoy no ha sido una excepci\u00f3n.\u00a0<strong>Se han detectado en la ciudad m\u00e1s de veinte casos<\/strong>, principalmente ni\u00f1os, seg\u00fan ha confirmado a\u00a0<strong>Cope Alcoy<\/strong>\u00a0la concejala de Sanidad,\u00a0<strong>Tere Sanju\u00e1n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, desde\u00a0<strong>Salud P\u00fablica<\/strong>\u00a0ya se han tomado medidas para acabar con el brote. \u00ab<em>Impartir\u00e1n charlas en los colegios. Tambi\u00e9n se han puesto en contacto con las farmacias que se encuentran alrededor de los puntos en los que se han detectado los casos para facilitarles una mayor disposici\u00f3n del medicamento<\/em>\u00bb, ha explicado Sanju\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tambi\u00e9n desde el Departamento de Salud de Alcoy se ha informado a los m\u00e9dicos de familia de c\u00f3mo proceder. Y seg\u00fan ha explicado Enrique barbeito, gerente del Departamento, este mi\u00e9rcoles se realizar\u00e1n sesiones explicativas en los centros educativos, a cargo d dermat\u00f3logos, para docentes y familias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En los centros educativos, en los cuales se han detectado casos, se ha puesto en funcionamiento un protocolo para tomar precauciones. Entre las medidas, el aislamiento en casa del ni\u00f1o infectado y el tratamiento de todos los contactos estrechos del mismo -compa\u00f1eros de clase y profesores. Si hay m\u00e1s de un contagio en la clase, este tratamiento llega tambi\u00e9n a todo el n\u00facleo familiar de cada alumno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No obstante,\u00a0<strong>la concejala mantiene la calma frente al brote<\/strong>. \u00ab<em>Preocupa porque la mayor\u00eda de infectados son ni\u00f1os, pero se trata de una enfermedad que estaba erradicada y tenemos el medicamento que sabemos que funciona. Si sigues las pautas que te recomienda el m\u00e9dico se cura pr\u00e1cticamente en dos semanas<\/em>\u00bb. En este sentido, algunos m\u00e9dicos relacionan la sarna con los brotes de piojos, que son molestos pero no graves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La sarna es un trastorno de la piel, provocado por peque\u00f1os \u00e1caros aradores, que produce un sarpullido acompa\u00f1ado de picor. Estos par\u00e1sitos est\u00e1n presentes en el textil, por ejemplo. Es por ello que, aunque el enfermo se puede curar, tambi\u00e9n puede reinfectarse si los \u00e1caros no se eliminan de los ambientes que frecuenta el paciente.
